Named Canada’s CEO of the Year, and honored as Profit Magazine’s Top Canadian Woman Entrepreneur for six consecutive years, she is best known as the founder and former CEO of Just Energy Group — one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies during her tenure.
She currently sits on the boards of Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd., the Royal Ontario Museum, and the David Foster Foundation, and serves as an economic sponsor to Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital in its fight against rheumatoid arthritis. She is a recipient of the Horatio Alger Award, holds an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Victoria, and was awarded the prestigious Knight of the St. Sava Order of Diplomatic Pacifism by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Her early investments in the coastal town of Cabrera laid the foundation for the region’s transformation from a quiet fishing village into a rising world-class tourism destination.

Backed by a Master of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Human Resources & Team Coaching, and a Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, she leads with both strategic clarity and human-centered insight.
Blanca oversees a team of 40 with sharp intuition, unmatched precision, empathy, and an eye for detail that has become her signature. From optimizing behind-the-scenes operations to ensuring each guest experience is smooth and sublime, she is the driving force behind the villa’s seamless execution and elevated service culture.
